Weekly Recap 3/13

Basketball

This past weekend the basketball team kicked off their PIAA state playoff run! The team traveled to Saucon Valley High School to play Saucon Valley High School in the first round. They played excellent basketball and won 77-51. The team was led by Tyler Scarpulla '23, Jacen Holloway' 23 and Shane Doyle '25. The team is back in action on Wednesday night in the second round of the PIAA playoffs. The team plays Mid- Valley at Easton Middle School. 

Spring Sports 

The first week of spring sports for Devon Athletics is in the books for high school sports. This upcoming week, middle school athletics will begin. As the spring season is in full swing, there’s a lot of excitement in the Devon community coming into its last athletic season of the school year.

Each team has held its respective tryouts and have adjusted its rosters for the spring season for the high school. The Tide is expected to be competitive in its 5th spring season in the PCL, while participating in Baseball, Crew, Lacrosse, Tennis, and Track & Field.

Our student athletes and coaches are in full preparation for their upcoming seasons and are looking forward to a successful year. This year we’re looking forwarded to watching  our spring athletic programs continue to grow and be successful in each event they participate in.
