All of our High School Fall sports teams got started this last week with their tryouts. We are very excited to watch the teams develop this Fall. The soccer team starts matches this week. Our crew and cross country teams will get started competing against other schools in a couple weeks.

Our golf team had their first two matches of the season last week. Both were PCL matches. Below are some highlights from the two matches. 

Our first golf match of the season was on August 17th vs. Bonner. We won by a score of 237-285 for 9 holes. The team was led by Nick Ciocca '25 who shot a 36, John Curran '26 who shot a 38 and Dan DiLella '25 and Kidder Urban '23 who both shot a 39. Shots of the day were had by Both Paddy Barry and John Curran tied for shot of the day. They BOTH almost had an ace on two different par 3 holes. Paddy hit his tee shot on #4 to 1 foot. John hit his tee shot on #7 to 4 inches. Great job, guys! The ROUND OF THE DAY was shot by Dan DiLella, he started out birdie-birdie to set the tone for the match in the first group. Great round, Dan!

On August 18th the team traveled to LaSalle at Blue Bell CC. The Lasalle was the better team this day and we lost 258-236. We will see them again in the PCL tournament. The team was led by Ciocca and DiLella both with a 38. The team is back in action this week with 3 matches!
