Very busy week for our athletes this week.

Our soccer team on September 12th the Varsity team played vs. Masterman and lost 2-0. Today was a tough loss for our team. We let ourselves down with too many momentary lapses in focus. We have to get back to playing soccer at the high level that we know we are capable of as we get back to league play tomorrow as we take on Archbishop Ryan. Archbishop Ryan was a learning experience for the team. We Lost 7-0. On September 17th we were back in action vs. Cardinal O’Hara and won 3-2. This was our first PCL win of the season. Goals provided by Mark Bennett ‘26 and Evan Tissue ‘23 (2).We started the game slowly, missing too many chances in the first half but we showed our true qualities in the second half. We showed that we wanted it more coming from behind twice! A smart deflection by Mark Bennett ‘26 got us going off the assist from Connor Thiele ‘23 followed by two beautiful goals from Evan Tissue ‘23. Braeden Fisher ‘26 picked up his first win in net in his high school career.  We are back to work on Monday to get ready for Lasalle on Tuesday. Our JV team also had a busy week.
