Varsity Baseball Suffers Heartbreaking Loss at Episcopal Academy

Newtown Square, PA| The Devon Prep Varsity Baseball team traveled to Episcopal Academy, taking on the Churchmen on their home field.
Caleb Tesfaye got the start for Devon Prep. Tesfaye did his job, allowing only one run through four innings of play as the Tide trailed 0-1. The Devon Prep offense rallied, taking a 2-1 lead in the top of the fifth.
Episcopal did not give up as they scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Devon Prep 2-3.
Varsity Baseball will be back at home on Monday, April 20th, as they welcome Monsignor Bonner to the home turf. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
